I found some discussion by people who had played both Misery and SMRTR here. Every release has its own style, aided by the developer’s willingness to let modders use their assets and engine to a remarkable degree. Call of Pripyat takes you once again into the vicinity of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor that exploded in 1986. The team behind Call of Pripyat Complete has actually been around the modding scene since Shadow of Chernobyl. mods ever, and one of the more well-known ones. Again, everyone's waiting for SMRTR 0.45 to come out with a bunch of new stuff. The three games - Shadow Of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call Of Pripyat - have all kinds of mods, and those mods have their own mods. Call of Pripyat Complete is one of the first larger S.T.A.L.K.E.R. seems to be the major competitor to Misery.
Everyone's waiting for Misery 2 to come out with a bunch of new stuff and maybe some fixes to some of its inconsistencies. I Work Alone and its much more difficult successor Misery get a lot of praise. Mods that are not appropriate for a first-time but are very interesting for later: I'd like to hear comments about whether it's appropriate for a first-time playthrough. I now think that it may be that what I should have done was use the Reloaded mod.
I attempted to put together most of the mods that make up CoP Complete with the updated versions, but it was too difficult and not something I want to write up, and misses some of the parts in Complete that I would maybe wanted to have had. But all of these mods changes the gameplay at least a little.

Also you might check Complete mod (which i don't recommend, because it might be buggy) and Reloaded which is better IMO. For example, CoP Complete uses AtmosFear 2 instead of the current version 3. As i said, sigerous mod is SGM, just longer name.and The way to pripyat is for the first stalker only, not COP. Complete was outstanding for SoC and CS and should certainly be used on first time playthroughs.īut Complete for CoP got a lot more criticism because it made what was already the easiest game of the trilogy even easier, and it is also somewhat outdated and is not being kept up some of the major mods it uses are older than what is currently available.
